Soft Emboss Resist Thank You Notecard

I made this thank you card using one of Stampin' Up! sets on the retiring list. Can you guess which one? Scroll down to the list of products used for this card for the answer. And click on the link to order it! Before it's gone! Lots of sets from the retiring list have sold out already and are selling for crazy amounts of money on eBay.

Make sure to get the 3/16th corner rounder too! It punches a nice, subtle 3/16th corner.

I've been wanting to try the emboss resist technique for a while. I also did a bit of masking - used some post it notes to limit my stamping area to the highlighted rectangle.  Then I inked my stamped in versamark, stamped several times (reinking in between), poured some white embossing powder on, heat embossed, and then sponged on several different inks, wiped the ink off the embossed portion with a tissue (all this while still keeping my post it mask on). Finally removed the post it notes. And voila!

The card measures a cute 3 1/2 by 5.
