Flowers in the Window Get Well Card

I want to make every one of Mary Fish's cards! Her blog was one of my big inspirations to become a Stampin' Up demo this past summer. I absolutely love her clean, bright style. But this is only my third Mary case to date (I'll never be done with cardmaking at this rate!). Here's a link to her original card. I change the colors, the flowers, the vase, and a few other details. I love how it came out! I used my envelope punch board to create a coordinating envelope.

Card Stock: Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point, Brights designer paper (retired)
Stamps: Delightful Dozen
Ink: Pacific Point
Tools: Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, owl punch (for the oranges), 1 1/4 circle punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, envelop punch board, Spring Bouquet Punch (retired), Blossom Builder Punch (retired)

embellished catalogs...

Why leave out an embellished catalog, when you can dress it up? I had fun putting these little owls and the pumpkin together....Would you be more tempted to pick up this catalog than a plain one?

Tools: owl punch, scallop circle punch, 3/4 inch circle punch

D is for Dog

I made this card a few weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to post it on my blog...I rarely make a card without someone specific in mind, but I was getting ready to sell this stamp set, and wanted to use it before posting it on eBay. I LOVE this stamp set, but don't have very many friends with dogs, so figured I'd have the money to spend on a stamp set I could use more often. I did have fun making this card. I started with dog on a 2 and 1/2 inch circle. The layout was inspired by a few cards in a couple different Stampin' Up catalogs...After I finished the card, something looked off, so I chomped the corners. Below is the card with square corners. Which do you like better?

Card Stock: Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Close to Cocoa (retired)
Stamps: D is for Dog (retired)
Ink: Close to Cocoa (retired), Versa Mark
Tools: 2 1/2 circle punch, paper piercing tool, heat tool, 3/16 corner rounder punch
Embellishments: basic rhinestone, white embossing powder
