Handmade Poloroid Photo Card

This is only one of a few holiday cards I made this year. Most people are getting preprinted photo cards! This one is going out to the midwives who guided me through my pregnancy with Aura (pictured), and helped me achieve my very empowering VBAC.

I made the poloroid cut out meticulously using the Stampin' Trimmer. The stamp was a combination of a stamp from the retired set, On Your Birthday (it was manipulated a bit with the help of the stamp a ma jig) and the retired, Happy Everything.

Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Red Riding Hood (retired), Early Espresso Coordinations
Stamps: On your birthday, Happy Everything
Ink: Early Espresso Craft ink, Chocolate Chip marker.
Tools: Owl Punch, Heart to Heart Punch (retired), Big Shot, Circle Framelits, Circle Thinlits Envelope Punch Board

Happy Holidays!

I'm very Jewish but recently discovered  I LOVE making Christmas cards. I love Christmas lights and all the festive decorations too. And the trees. I don't want one myself, but I think they're pretty.

This card was fast, easy, and of course, fun. I started by using the circle framelits to make a wreath "guide" and then used the star from the merry mini punch pack to punch out all those stars, and arranged them on the circle. The card all came together easily from there! The little holly are the tiny circles from the owl punch.

Love the envelope punch board to make coordinating envelopes in a snap!

Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler Coordinations, Simply Scrappin' Merry Moments DSP
Stamps: Delightful Dozen
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Tools: Owl Punch, Merry Minis Punch Pack, Big Shot, Circle Framelits Envelope Punch Board

Mojo Monday 324 and Sneak Peak

My first Mojo Monday Card. Inspired by the sketch below....

There are a few sneak peaks at new products: the "woo hoo!" is from the Occasions Catalog Just Sayin' stamp set, and word bubble framelits (I'm going to have so much fun playing with these!). The stamp set and framelits will be available Jan. 3 when the Occasions Catalog begins.  The mini banners were stamped and punched with the Banner Punch and Banner Blast stamp set. The background was dry embossed with the decorative dots embossing folder. These are part of the Sale-A-Bration Promotion (Jan. 28 - March 31).  Earn one Sale-A-Bration item for every $50 you spend (total before shipping and tax).

The owl punch of course is an old favorite, he was dazzled up with silver dazzling details. The 2014 was stamped with the ABC outline stamp set with some gorgeous grunge behind it. The part hat is from a retired birthday set.

Card Stock: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Smoky Slate, Brights Designer Paper
Stamps: Just Sayin (OC), Banner Blast (SAB) ABC outline, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Pacific Point, going gray
Tools: Owl Punch, Hexagon Punch, Banner Punch (SAB), Decorative Dots Embossing Folder (SAB), Big Shot
