Engagement card for CAS(E) this sketch #77

I made this card to play along with CAS(E) this sketch #77. I didn't love the card yesterday, then added some bling today (the rhinestones), and all is better.

The hearts were stamped on vellum with the retired, Love You Much, and punched with the retired Heart to Heart punch. The sentiment is from the retired, and now sold out, Delightful Dozen. (Check out the retirement sale here, up to 50% off.) I'm considering selling my set, so if you want it, send me a line...

The card is for a friend who got engaged this week. Here's the inside:

And the matching envelope liner...

missing "u" blues

I decided I want to participate in more sketch challenges. While it's easy and satisfying to CASE a card I love, the extra effort to create a card from a sketch is well worth it...On the other hand coming up with my own cards from scratch is something I may never master...

Here's my take on the above sketch:

Another play on alphabet card. Loving these little letter these days....I started by carefully lined up all the letters on a piece of pool party Core'dinations cardstock (love the extra texture), and used my paper piercing tool to pierce the edges. I don't used designer paper much on my cards, but I thought this set worked great on this card.  I used gorgeous grunge to make my own tone on tone background on the Island Indigo Base...

Notice, I made my own enamel dots - I covered some punched circles in crystal effects and let them dry a few hours...Love it!

The "missing u" was stamped with a retired mini alphabet set, and I put some crystal effects on the little heart from the own punch to give it a bit more dimension.

And of course, the coordinating envelope line with another piece of DSP from the Sent with Love pack (on the clearance rack, get it before it's gone!).

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! And here's yet another mother's day card. I think this is my favorite. I love the pink pirouette rose, and mellow moss leaves...Plus, I finally got to use my six sided sampler bundle (this will carry over to the next catalog, but not as a bundle, so get it for 15% off now!).

I love the patterns in the six sided sampler set, I'm not sure why I haven't used it till now....It's such fun to stamp, punch, then line up my hexagons perfectly!

So far, it's just a regular Sunday for me. Well, my 4 year old is extra cranky ;-). What are you doing on this Mother's Day?

Happy Mother's Day

Here's one of a three simple mother's day cards I made with a group of friends on Wednesday night. I used the retired set, Just Believe, and the retired, Baha Breeze cardstock and ink. But you can similar results with the "My Friend" or any flower silhouette set.

I stamped off once before stamping the "shadow image," then reinked and stamped the image one more time slightly to the right and up. I did use my Stamp-a-ma-jig to ensure perfect placement. Stamped my sentiment on a piece of scrap, punched it with the scallop oval punch, stuck on some pearls, some butterflies, adhered the layers, and done :-). The ladies loved it!

Boho Blossoms Rainbow Card

I cased this card off this one I found on pintrest. I absolutely LOVE the result. The card is 5 x 7 on crumb cake cardstock. The splattering is from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in the retired Close to Cocoa. The sentiment is from the Sale-A-Bration "You're Lovely" stamp set.
