Happy Whale, 3rd Birthday Moving Card, and extra Free items with your order!

I had too much fun making this card! It was a combination of 2 cards I found on pinterest. This card provided the inspiration for the layout. And this card provide the inspiration for the moving whale.

The card base is 4 3/4 inches by 6 1/2 inches. For this card, I used a bunch of clearance rack items. The Happy Whale framelits are on clearance rack, click here to get them while you can! For only $4.59, they're a bargain! You get a whale, fish, anchor, heart, star and little splashes. Too cute. Grab a Cloudy Day Embossing Folder from the clearance rack too while you're there, you won't regret it! The matching envelope was made using the envelope punch board and Sycamore Street DSP from last years SAB.

On that note, there's only one more week to Sale-A-Bration! Get your free items with every purchase in increments of $50. To sweeten the deal a bit more, for the first 5 people who place a qualifying orders of $50 or more with me, I will throw in a free package of retired SU designer fabric.

You turn the scalloped circle to make the whale swim. Isn't this cute?

Here's a close up of the card. I used the Borders Scoring plate to make the "wave" and the small oval punch to get the scalloped edge (I messed up a bit...). You would probably get a cleaner cut with the LARGE SCALLOP EDGELITS DIE.

And here's the back of the card:

PPA 196 and last week of Sale-A-Bration

I wanted to try something different for this week's PPA challenge. And I only had half hour. This is what I came up with:

I like the concept, but I think it leaves much room for improvement. What would you add? Do differently?

The one thing I wanted to use was copper embossing powder - wanted to make a card for my 7th wedding anniversary this week (wool/copper is the theme). If I have time, I may try to make another card since I don't love this one.

Elegant Fancy Foil Basket

I CASEd this little basket from The Wild West Paper Arts Blog. All the directions are on her blog. It is super easy to make, I recommend you try it! I saw it during the blog hop, and I knew I had to make it. It was so easy to make, and it's just adorable in person. I made a fancy one with Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum and an envelope punch board silver foil bow. And a cute one below with retired DSP.

CAS Banner Blast "hi" card

This was a 10 minute card! I'm not really a 10 minute card type of gal. I like to obsess and layer, and change my mind, and switch things around. But I needed this quick. I used a chocolate chip marker and a bowl to get my "lines." Stamped a bunch of banners in Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango and Pear Pizzazz. Glued them on. And voila!

It's not perfect. But it was fast, and it's cute! And it used very little supplies!

I was inspired by this card I found on Pinterest. Next time I may make an exact copy, because I like her card much better!

For the FabFri37 Sketch, this is what I came up with:

I was inspired by a Valentines card using the word bubble framelits I saw here . I used the retired Brilliant Blue cardstock and ink.

Mojo336, Sale-A-Bration card

Inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch, this is what I came up with:

This was supposed to be a fast card, following the sketch, but I could not get it to work for me! I finally settled on this, and missed the Mojo Monday deadline...I attempted to squeeze as many  Sale-A-Bration items as I could into this card? Can you guess how many I used???

Here's a close up of how I embellished the DSP with glitter....
