My much younger sister (she's 17!) was visiting last week, and she requested that we make some Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) cards to send to her campers in September. As Stampin' Up has exactly one Jewish stamp set, and I don't own it, and in general there's a shortage of Jewish themed stamps, I had to be a little creative..
Here's the first card I came up with (check back later in the week for a couple more...):
Apples (with honey) are a traditional Rosh Hashana food, but I decided to give them a vintage feel with the typeset specialty paper (love it!). The happy new year sentiment is from the fabulous "Good Greetings" stamp set, which you can earn free by booking a September workshop with me.
